The HiSet is a test similar to the GED test. It takes the place of a high school diploma, which is required to attend any college. To learn more about the HiSet, please look here: https://hiset.ets.org/resources/faq

On the Chattanooga State main campus, the HiSet exam is given on Wednesdays in our Testing Center (Room 122 on the 1st floor of the IMC building).

You must register to take the HiSet exam.  You can take preparatory classes and earn a free exam voucher through the Adult Education Center located in our CBIH building. Please call them at 423-697-2529 or toll-free at 1-844-688-7944 for more information.
