Students may access the Internet through the campus student wi-fi CHSCC-Student. (Please note: You may also see a new Chatt-State wi-fi, which will become usable for students by early 2017. More on that soon!) The library Service Desk will tell you the password if you show your Student ID or if you call them at 697-4448 and tell them your student A-number.
Employees should access the Internet through the Chatt-State wi-fi network (new in Fall 2016) using their campus username (TigerID) and password. If you are an employee and cannot access the staff wi-fi, please contact employee IT Help at 423-697-3375.
Guests may use Chattanooga State's ChattState-Guest wi-fi network. The guest network is NOT secure and should not be used for viewing or entering any private information. Never use the Guest network for any site requiring a login. To use the Guest network for the first time, select the network, then go to the bottom of the Sign On page and click on Don't have an account?, then follow the directions.
Students and non-students may use public computers in the library at Chattanooga State for more secure Internet access. Computer use is subject to availability, and you must abide by the campus Acceptable Use Policy.
