Patrons are fully responsible for any lost or damaged items they have checked out from the library.
Lost items:
- Patrons will be charged for the cost of lost items.
Damaged items:
- Patrons will be charged the library's cost of the items if the items cannot be repaired, or the items have signs of mold, mildew, warping and/or stains from water or other liquids.
- If the items can be repaired, patrons with be charged the costs of the repair. Costs may include binding (determined by the size of the book), and/or $.50 per page to replace damaged or missing pages.

Patrons will be notified by phone, email, or letter when charges are owed for lost or damaged items.

Student accounts will be charged and holds will be placed and if these items are not paid for before the end of the semester.
- Community patrons with outstanding items will be billed by the Business Office.
