To email your instructor in eLearn, go to the Course Home page of the class and click on Tools > Classlist. Go to the Instructor tab and simply click on your instructor’s name to compose an email to your instructor.
The eLearn email system is "closed", meaning no one can send email into or out of the eLearn system—it all stays inside eLearn. If you try to send an email to your instructor's eLearn (d2l) address from an outside email account (such as Gmail or TigerMail), your instructor will not receive it.
If you no longer have access to your Course Home page, you can try the Directory in the top menu of the Chattanooga State home page, or call the academic department for information on how to contact your instructor.
