Chattanooga State has a full-time state certified police department on campus. The members of the Campus Police Department have the right to require that persons on the campus identify themselves by name and address, student ID card, and indicate what connection they have with the campus, if any. For persons who are not members of the College community and have no legitimate business on campus, the campus police may require that they leave the campus.

Students, faculty, staff, and guests are encouraged to report all criminal actions and emergencies occurring on campus to the campus police. There are emergency telephones available for use at various locations on campus. Campus police may be reached at the following telephone numbers:
* Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.: (423) 697-4467
