It is the expectation that all regular full-time, part-time, and adjunct faculty/staff should have an employee ID badge. (This does not include employees with a temporary employment status.) In addition to identifying employees to security personnel and granting entrance to certain events, this badge will also serve as a library card to check out materials from the campus library.
The badge-making equipment for faculty and staff is normally in the Human Resources (HR) department in CBIH 222 (the 2nd floor of the CBIH building: see campus map). Please call HR at 423-697-4458 to be sure that badges can be made the day you wish to come.
Note: The Student Life Center in HPF 180 has a badge-maker for student IDs, but Student Life is not able to make ID badges for faculty and staff.
