The library study rooms can't be further soundproofed because of issues with the air flow, but if you feel other patrons are being excessively loud, a staff member can ask that they be a little quieter. Because the study rooms are in the collaborative area of the library, it often can get a little bit loud. If you're looking for a quiet space, you may want to try the Quiet Area behind the book shelves on the other end of the library. There are tables and carrels available there.
