Success Coaches are assigned to every incoming degree-seeking freshman. They help new students through the application and registration process and are there to guide them through their first 24 credit hours. They usually do NOT do academic advising.
Academic Completion Specialists take over after the first 24 credit hours and guide students through the needed requirements towards graduation. If a student doesn't have an academic advisor or can't find their advisor, the Specialist can help locate someone else to advise the student.
