TigerID Wizard says "Your TigerID could not be found. "
This error typically occurs for one of three reasons:
1) You may have made a typo when entering your A-number.
Make sure you entered the A-number with a capital A followed by eight numbers, including zeros, and no spaces. Example: A00123456 or A00012345
To make sure the A-number is correct:
Go to the TigerWeb login page and scroll down to the TigerID Wizard.
Underneath "Step 1: Enter Your A Number", look for the question "What is an 'A Number'?".
Click on the underlined blue link to the A Number Lookup Tool and follow the directions.
2) You have not officially been admitted to the college yet.
Usually this is because the checklist for the application isn't complete; or in some cases, no application has been submitted for Chatt State, only for FAFSA (financial aid).
Instructions to check the status of an application:
On the main Chattanooga State home page, click on Admissions. In the Admissions links on the left side of the page, click on "Application Status Check" (direct link: https://chattanoogastate.edu/status) and follow the instructions.
For the Application Term, be sure the correct term is selected. For example, “2020 Fall Credit” if applying to regular Chattanooga State classes for Fall 2020, or “2020 Fall TCAT” if enrolling in classes at Tennessee College of Applied Technology.
Look for any missing Checklist Items. (Note: Ignore "no holds" message if there are missing Checklist Items.) If any Checklist Itemshave already been provided to Admissions, it can take several days for those items to appear in your account. 3) You have not accessed the system since Fall 2007.
Student accounts that haven't been active since Fall 2007 are NOT in TigerWeb or the Active Directory. If you need a transcript, you need to submit a form.
